A couple of weeks ago, Everett & I went to the Arkansas Skatium with some other moms and their children from LittleRockMommies to Mom & Tot Skate. At Mom & Tot Skate the kiddos can bring anything with wheels to ride. Everett brought his powered Lightning McQueen car to ride, and I assumed that's what he was doing while I was putting on my skates. When I went on the rink and couldn't find him, I panicked a little until I saw him doing this:
He was in the arcade a good portion of the time we were at the rink. At one point he and another little boy swapped cars, and he was riding a car he had to push with his legs.
About 30 minutes before it was time to go he asked me if he could put on skates, so I got him a pair and put them on him. He was SO cute. We skated together for a little while and he did such a great job!
This post is a little out of order, but since it's a big milestone it definitely deserves some face time! After having a few nights of bedtime issues we pulled the already assembled toddler bed out of the closet and Everett spent his first night it in on May 7th. He was up a few times and I think he ended up sleeping with us about halfway through the night, but after a few nights of transitioning he is now sleeping in his big boy bed through the night!
A local church, Rock Creek, has a huge playtube area that's available to the public for free. It's like the McDonald's playtubes super-sized! I took Everett for the first time last week and he had so much fun.
A few weeks ago, Chance, Everett, and I went to the zoo with some mommies and their little ones. We have a friend who has a season pass and she had some free guest passes so we got it free!

This is another catch up post. Every Spring, the town where we live, Maumelle, has what they called Family Fun Fest. They set up lots of carnival type rides, bounce houses, and vendors at Lake Willastein, a lake here in town. We took Everett last year and he wasn't big enough to do much, but he had a blast this year!

The airplanes were the only other ride he wanted to ride. He's flying so fast his hair is blowing in the wind.
