Family Pictures

Back in August we had Everett's three year portraits made as well as some family portraits. We had them taken at the Old Mill in North Little Rock. It was extremely hot, and you can see how wet Everett's hair is from sweat in some of them. It took FOREVER to get them back which is why I'm just now posting them.

Cardiology Update and Halloween

In October Everett had a Cardiology update and I completely forgot to post about it. He had the best appointment ever! His heart function was great and the best news of all is that they said that he is doing well enough that he doesn't have to go back for an ENTIRE year!! I am so proud of how far he has come.
In October we carved a pumpkin for Halloween. Everett decided what the face looked like and said that it had to have a pig nose. He was really grossed out by the "gupa gupa" (pumpkin guts) that we took out, and he liked the roasted pumpkin seeds. He grew quite attached to his pumpkin and was pretty sad when we had to throw it away. He was sad that it had to stay outside because he said it was cold. We also visited a pumpkin patch with some other mommies and their kidlets. They played in the corn pit and we went for a hayride. I took E out in the patch and showed him how the pumpkins were grown and he thought that was really neat. The week of Halloween we went to Halloween on the Hill in Park Hill in North Little Rock like we did last year with Tricia, Alyssa, and their kids. Then, on Halloween night we went to the Lake Willastein for trunk-or-treat, then to a local church for trunk or treat, and finally traditional trick-or-treating. Everett ended up with TONS of candy and he had so much fun. He had a complete grasp on the situation this year which definitely made it more fun.

Arkansas State Fair

On October 15, we took Everett to the Arkansas State Fair. He was very brave and rode several rides and loved petting the animals in the petting zoo. His favorite was the circus train and he rode it several times. The three of us shared a fried twinkie and it was so yummy!

Everett's Third Birthday Party

This year because Everett has tons of friends here, we decided to have his party here instead of going to Texas and having a party there. The Sunday after his birthday, the 19th, we had a Chuck E. Cheese party at the CEC in Little Rock. He had several of his friends attend , as well as Grampy, Grammy, Chinah, and Grace, and lots of adults who love him. He had a "Cars" cake with Lightning McQueen and Mater on it, got to play a ton of games, went in the ticket blaster to catch tickets, received a crown and a birthday medallion from Chuck E. , and got a TON of awesome presents. He had so much fun and asks when he gets to have a CEC party again.

Ring Bearer

Two days before his third birthday on September 11, Everett was the ring bearer in the wedding of two our of friends who got married, Jennifer and William. I was worried about whether or not he would do what he was supposed to do, and minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start I went to sit in my seat and he was REALLY upset that I was leaving him. When it was his turn to walk down the aisle he walked all the way down and did such a good job!! He was SO cute in his little tuxedo. He had the pillow in a football hold instead of holding it in front of him. The wedding was beautiful, as was the bride. Congratulations, Jenn and Will!!
