Eye Appointment

At the end of July Everett had an eye appointment at Children's with Dr. Lowery. This was the best appointment he has had so far!! Dr. L said that his eyes are definitely improving with the dilation drops and the glasses and to keep doing what we're doing. He said that E still favors his left eye some, but there is significant improve. We don't have to go back for an entire year!!! Dr. L said they'll be able to do more extensive testing in a year and he doesn't see any reason for us to come back any sooner than that unless we have problems. Yay!

Tori's Visit, Storytime Live, and Tux Fitting

After Jadyn went home her big sister Victoria came to visit. She was here on her birthday (July 10) so I baked her a cake. Later in the week we went to Nickelodeon's Storytime Live in Little Rock. Storytime Live was a musical where actors portrayed the characters of Ni-Hao Kai Lan, Backyardigans, Dora the Explorer, and The Wonder Pets. We had backstage passes so Everett and Victoria had the opportunity to have their picture taken with two of the characters from Backyardigans, Tasha and Tyrone. It was SUCH an amazing show and I know that Everett and Tori had a great time. I did too!

Victoria's visit and Storytime Live were in July. I haven't been so good about updates lately because I'm taking 6 hours this semester and I am swamped!!!

Last week, Everett had a tux fitting for Jennifer and Will's wedding in September. He was SO cute in his little tux, and I know that when we put the whole ensemble together it will be even cuter.

4th of July

One of Everett's cousins, Jadyn came down for a visit. She was here for the 4th of July, so we went to Lake Willastein for fireworks on that Saturday, the 3rd. Everett and Jadyn shared a sno-cone.

On the 4th we bought sparklers and let the kids do them in the backyard.
